Less than five years ago, Ruud Alofs started a mail and parcel service from his garage in Uden. The company now has branches in Uden, Veghel and Oss and 30 couriers who hit the road every day. What sets green delivery company Groenbezorgen apart? They do it all by bike. Ruud’s brother and Co-owner Thijs Alofs will be the first to admit that bike deliveries can be challenging when the days get darker. Fortunately, that’s all in the past. Now that their bikes have been equipped with unique LED lighting, Groenbezorgen is more visible than ever before!

“We always put safety first. We want our couriers and all other road users to stay safe at all times. Our cargo bikes have proper lighting, of course, but people still told us that we weren’t always that easy to see, especially in the winter months. It was a problem we simply had to solve. We love working with local businesses and had a good rapport with Tronix, so we decided to partner up.”

“When we told them about the challenge we faced, they responded enthusiastically. Although they admitted there was no off-the-shelf solution, that proved to be a non-issue for the people at Tronix. It wasn’t long before we came up with the idea of equipping every bike with 6 strips of green, sustainable LEDs and a battery with more than enough power for our bike delivery services.
