When you move to a new headquarters, you want jaws to drop. This was no different for Kusters Precision Parts. The Oss-based company had long dreamt of a brand-new home with beautiful, smart and efficient lighting, and called in Vansantvoort Enovatieve Installaties to make that happen - along with Tronix.

TELLING A STORY WITH LIGHT

The architect who designed Kusters’s new building opted for an omni-directional approach with large glass sections and panelling made of perforated metal. The idea was to add RGB lighting to elevate the design to the next level, but integrating such a massive lighting system was a rather daunting project. That’s why Vansantvoort CEO Jos van Schijndel called in Tronix.

“Tronix helped us create a new design for our façade lighting”, Jos remembers. “Ultimately, we landed on RGBW Wall Washers, which can be set to an infinite number of colors. “Our new façade can now bathe in Kusters DNA” By using the right lenses and opting for a top-down direction, we made sure that our lights do not cause any nuisance on the nearby A50 motorway.”

There is hardly any accumulation of dust or dirt on the water-resistant fixtures. Jos: “That’s great for longevity and maintenance costs, and because the lighting is linked to the building management system, the customer even gets to lower their energy bill.
