"After we bought our city villa, we had a cellar installed for an atmospheric wine bar," the residents explain. "We sit there regularly. Sometimes just the two of us, but often with friends, for example for a drink before dinner. We often find ourselves downstairs as well, after we finish our daily dinner. On the other side of the steel-glass door, we have a room set up where we can facilitate our passion for collecting things. This room is illuminated by various LED strips and spots."

"The ambiance? Some call it Moulin Rouge. It's less red than that, but indeed very atmospheric with warm colors. We've used the same dimmable LED strips everywhere. Like around the round steps, under the benches and in niches... In addition, LED background-sheets were installed under the onyx marble worktop. We chose to control the lighting the old-school waty with dimmable light switches on the wall and behind the bar. It's wonderful to turn on the lighting, it makes us enjoy the unique ambiance every time again."

“These LED strips are a must-have in every home”

"It was quite a challenge finding the right LED strips, and it’s best position. Take the lighting of the four-meter-high mirror wall behind the bar for example, with a copper rack for the bottles against the mirror. The challenge was in the reflection of the light. Sometimes it was too white, then too greenish, and when we thought we had it right, the LED strips turned out to be too visible. Eventually, we managed to create the perfect atmosphere with Tronix. The LED strips are really great, a must-have in every home if you ask me."
