“Verwijst Elektro supplies the lighting and installation, and we were approached to provide automation for it”, recalls Bart van Doren, co-owner of Smarthome Domotica. “The restaurant has several light zones, for example, that all have to be individually dimmable. They also use specific atmospheres for mornings, afternoons and evenings. They even take light and dark days into consideration. So they always create the right atmosphere.”

“We automated the light controls using a smart system in the central control cabinet. You can use an app to control the lighting, to switch between the different atmospheres at the press of a button. That’s the great thing about the Dali protocols that we use a lot for hospitality industry applications. We always order them from Tronix, because we know that they have the right driver and the best switches for every light source.”
